What we find inside Botany homes

Botany is one of the newer parts of East Auckland. The name only came into use for the area in 1999, and the neighbourhood grew around Botany Town Centre, which opened in 2001. Botany Downs has older streets, and the primary school there opened in 1975. The housing is a mix of low and medium density, including gated communities.
